Twin Peaks
Some good performances at Twin Peaks May 30th/31st on a very hot weekend. Best result was Aidan Smith running up, 1st on M16, pushing recent SINS JM5M winner Simon Bradbury into 2nd. A win also for Kim Baxter on W21S with Jaimie Buckley 2nd. Other notable results; Peter Gorvett 2nd running M50 (only 12 seconds behind the winner!), Louise Adams W12 and Adam Bradbury M18 in 3rd places.

Summer Training Camps
Congratulations to Aidan Smith and Cari Littler who have been selected to attend British Orienteering's Talent Programme Summer Training Camp at Lagganlia.
Also to Simon Bradbury who has been selected to attend British Orienteering's Talent Programme Summer Training Camp at Badaguish.

British Middle Distance Championships, Cademan & Thringstone Woods
Over 50 SYO members took part in this enjoyable event & the club came away with some good performances on a detailed and surprisingly physical area. Although we had no champions in the elite classes, Matt Crane and Grace Elson both came third and the packing on M21E was impressive.
Congratulations to our six British Champions, especially to Cari for her first win.
