Courses are sprint style with lots of controls and plenty of changes of direction. Distance is optimum route.

Shoes with some grip at advised – the grass is muddy!

For parents of yellow course competitors: the yellow course has some controls just off the path. The controls are all clearly visible from the path. One control involves climbing some steps to an upper level. Again, this control is visible on the approach.

The short and long courses may encounter a knee-high chain across the path on the entrance/exit to one control. This will be taped but please stay alert.

Venue

The Edge is  the main campus in Endcliffe Student Village; it is typical University Campus with a mixture of older buildings and modern accomodation blocks dotted around a grassy sloping site which also includes steps and water.  The map also covers some other areas in the village east of the campus, which are mostly older buildings with interlinked gardens and wider grounds.
