Details
Seems like everyone enjoyed their run in Eckington Woods this evening so a good addition to SYO areas! Huge thank you to Ian Cooper for the fabulous new map, planner Karl Marshall and organiser Todd plus the rest of the Woods family. Possibly an even bigger thank you to our control collectors who headed back out into the woods too pick up controls. Finally thank you to Eckington School for the use of the facilities.

We'll have our friendly volunteers on hand to tell you what to do. All welcome.

Venue
Woods around The Moss river between Eckington and Mosborough which straddle the South Yorkshire/Derbyshire border. Most courses are likely to find routes past Seldom Seen Engine House (ruined, but a Scheduled Ancient Monument) and earthworks surrounding it which are the traces of Plumbley Colliery. Mapped by Ian Cooper in 2024
