A great opportunity to have a go at orienteering in the small but beautiful Coronation Park in Oughtibridge. This is free event hosted by the Friends of Coronation Park & SYO and is ideal for families.
There are 3 courses on offer - very easy (0.5km), easy (0.8km) and medium (1.5km). You can do as many courses as you like as many times as you like. No need to pre-register - just turn up on the day. Help and advice will be available. No special equipment required.
Courses will be open from 1pm- 3pm (last start 2.45pm). Please park on nearby residential streets and look out for the SYO banner in the park. Nearest postcode S35 0GG.
Safety & risk
A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. If a competitor has a pre-existing medical condition that they think should be declared, please complete a medical form at enquiries. The sealed envelope will only be opened in an emergency.
