Details
Hope you all enjoyed Wincobank this evening. Results and splits are available on the link above. Thanks to Richard & Kim for planning, Ian Cooper for updating the map, Jacky for Organising and Kris for maning results.
Information
Explore the Wincobank Iron Age Hill Fort and surrounding ancient woodland, which has not been used for an event for several years. The woodlands contain interesting contour detail as a result of the area's rich industrial heritage and will provide a good challenge for experienced orienteers. There are also plenty of paths and open areas to cater for the less experienced and there are stunning views across the Don valley to enjoy! Newcomers are welcome. This event must be entered in advance.

All entries must be made in advance on the SYO Entry System. Entries open on 15th April and close on Monday 25th April. There will be no entry on the day.

Venue
Wincobank is a surprisingly intricate and varied area. Be prepared for highly runnable open woodland, a lot of large and small pits and other groundworks remains, open areas, plenty of contours but some patches of difficult vegetation. The map was drawn in 2010 by Oli Johnson.
