Venue
The village of Hathersage and some surrounding countryside. It was mapped in 2010 and had not been used for an orienteeriing event before March 2011. The terrain is a mixture of pavement, road, track, grassy slopes, parkland, and (muddy) paths. Your footwear will be challenged, but there are no brambles or bracken.
