After a bit of a delay the results and splits are now available on the links above.

Information

An urban night orienteering race around the streets of Sheffield with registration based at the Fat Cat. 3 courses on offer to suit all abilities. You must enter in advance by 7pm on Sunday 11th March.

SYO's March evening event is also the last event in this winter's Dark Peak Urban Nights series. 

Parking - in the Fat Cat car park or surrounding streets

Registration - from 6.30pm in the car park

Start - a short walk away from 7-7.30pm

Courses - long, medium & short

Cost - £5 adults (£4 members), £3 juniors / students. Dibber hire free. If you go round as a pair you just pay for 1 entry.

Safety - Please take care crossing roads. Under 16s must be shadowed by an adult. Reflective clothing advised. Don't forget your headlight.

Post event social - in the Fat Cat. Food from 8.30pm - a a choice of meat chilli, veg curry, rice and wedges. Cost £6. You must pre-order your food. The usual selection of choice real ale will also be available

Safety & risk

A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. If a competitor has a pre-existing medical condition that they think should be declared, please complete a medical form at enquiries. The sealed envelope will only be opened in an emergency.

A fine pub with a great range of beer is a good starting point for an urban event which can range up to Walkley, down to the canal or into the City Centre.
