SYO and the Friends of Coronation Park are holding a free orienteering event on Tuesday 8th August.
Coronation Park (S35 0GG) is located in Oughtibridge, here.There will be 3 courses - very easy, easy and medium - on offer around the park, which will be ideal for newcomers and children. The medium course (approx 1.4k) will provide sprint training for those that have done a bit more orienteering. Starts will run from 1pm to 3.30pm. There is no need to register in advance - just turn up on the day.
Safety & risk
A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. If a competitor has a pre-existing medical condition that they think should be declared, please complete a medical form at enquiries. The sealed envelope will only be opened in an emergency.
