Event Information

Registration in Dore Primary School grounds, just outside the Junior Hall. (no parking in the school grounds)

There are three courses

1) Just in Dore Primary School grounds (about 500 metres).  We're calling this one the "Super Sprint Challenge"
2) In the school grounds and immediately adjacent field
3) As 2) above but also including the old King Ecgbert site
 
4) (sub)-urban orienteering round Dore for over 16s or accompanied under-16s. (Dore wouldn't want to be classified as an urban area!).  About 4km straight line route
 
Cost £1.50 juniors, £3 adults - pay once and run as many course as you like.

Safety & risk

A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. If a competitor has a pre-existing medical condition that they think should be declared, please complete a medical form at enquiries. The sealed envelope will only be opened in an emergency.

Venue

Urban area at the western edge of Sheffield with an interesting old village centre.  It was mapped by Aidan Smith in 2011 at 1:5000, using the urban mapping specification (ISSOM).  Dore Primary School grounds and some parkland are included in the mapped area.
