Hope everyone enjoyed the sprint around the Edge this evening, dodging the downpours. Should be a good practice for the weekend. Next local orienteering is at Concord Park on 27th April 1 -3pm.
Information
Celebrate the arrival of spring with the first evening event of the year. The ShUOC students are putting on three courses around the Edge Campus. This is a great opportunity for those heading to the British Sprint Championships on Saturday to practice. The start and finish will be outside the Edge, see map. Parking should be available in the car park off Endcliffe Crescent.

The distances shown are for a straight line. Because this is an urban area the actual distance can be 50% more as you have to run around buildings, walls etc.

Safety & risk
A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event. Venue
The Edge is the main campus in Endcliffe Student Village; it is typical University Campus with a mixture of older buildings and modern accomodation blocks dotted around a grassy sloping site which also includes steps and water. The map also covers some other areas in the village east of the campus, which are mostly older buildings with interlinked gardens and wider grounds.
