Details

A warm, sunny evening helped this session provide a relaxed introduction to the intricacies of orienteering for the small group of newcomers who attended. After Tuesday’s experience we improvised zero-cost controls using strips of carrier-bags, so no chasing was required (we know our limitations!!). There were no punches, but with time for some individual coaching, all completed the beginners course in good style and left looking forward to their first proper Park Race at Endcliffe Park on Wednesday 30th. Congratulations to all, but especially Owen (M10), Daniel (M10) & Eshan (M9) who demonstrated how quickly they had grasped the basics by tackling some extra challenges after their course.
