SYO Orienteering - 29th April Parkwood Springs

The 7th event in the 2022/23 Saturday series is at Parkwood Springs on 29th April. 

The SFSS schools' league runs alongside the public event.  Full details are on the website here. There is no need to pre-register - just turn up on the day between 12.30 and 2.30pm. There are courses suitable for all. 

We will be based by the big car park. Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities at Parkwood Springs but we will have a camping toilet for emergency use.

Remember your best 5 events count in the league. There's a certificate for everybody who does 5 events and a prize for people who do all 9! Alongside the individual prizes, there are year group prizes and the overall school competition. Encourage your friends to have a go! There's also a separate league for adults - choose whichever course you prefer.

We always welcome offers of help. You do not need have any experience. Please email Pauline if you can spare an hour or so.

If you're keen for an extra fix of orienteering, we also have an event on Sunday at Wombwell Woods in Barnsley 10.30am-12.30pm. It's a really lovely woodland and we have courses suitable for children, family groups, runners and experienced orienteers. More information is available here. You can enter in advance up until Friday (preferred to make sure you get the course you want) or on the day.
