SYO Orienteering - 1st April Norfolk Park

The 6th event in the 2022/23 Saturday series is at Norfolk Park on 1st April. This is the re-arranged event from 11th March, which was postponed due to snow.

The SFSS schools' league runs alongside the public event.  Full details are on the website here. There is no need to pre-register - just turn up on the day between 12.30 and 3pm (2.30pm for longer courses). There are courses suitable for all. 

We will be based in the Centre in the Park. The cafe is re-open and we'll also be holding a 2nd hand kit sale.

Remember your best 5 events count in the league. There's a certificate for everybody who does 5 events and a prize for people who do all 9! Alongside the individual prizes, there are year group prizes and the overall school competition. Encourage your friends to have a go! There's also a separate league for adults - choose whichever course you prefer.

We always welcome offers of help. You do not need have any experience. Please email Pauline if you can spare an hour or so.

On a different note British Orienteering are reviewing the membership structure of British Orienteering. They are keen to reach out to non-members.
