Orienteering at SHAFF this weekend!

Orienteering at Shaff

The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival runs from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th March. There are a wonderful array of outdoor adventurous films on offer alongside various talks, exhibitions and activities. Find out more here.

South Yorkshire Orienteers will be there alongside other exhibitors on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th March. There will be a free mini orienteering course with electronic punching in Pinball Park and a free maprun course around the city centre. Come along to the Outpost between 10am and 5pm and visit our stall to collect your free maps. If you don't fancy braving the elements, you can have a go at Virtual Orienteering at our laptop station! Thanks in advance to Oli & Jenny for planning and taking over the organising mantle at the weekend and to Nick, who's masterminding the virtual orienteering. Also to our on-the-day helpers - Jacky, Alexandra, Bill, the Howsams and Colin B - very much appreciated. We are still short of a couple of volunteers for some of the slots so if you can help for an hour or so, please let me know.
