EIS & Bowden Housteads Events

Saturday Series 5, EIS & the Olympic Legacy Park (Sheffield), Sat 28th Jan

Our 2nd Saturday event this month due to February calendar issues! Alongside the normal white to light green courses which explore the Olympic Legacy Park, there are green and blue courses for over 16s which head out into the challenging urban area around the English Institute of Sport (EIS). This event has the added novelty of the courses finishing along the EIS sprint track! More details here. There's no need to enter in advance - just turn up on the day!

We're still short of a few helpers so if you can spare an hour or so, please email Pauline. Helpers get a free run at these events.

Regional Night - Bowden Housteads, Sat 4th Feb

The following week we're off to Bowden Housteads. This has some lovely pockets of runnable woodland and along with finding the orange & white flags you can also enter the "count the shopping trolleys" competition - we think 7 is the top score! There's also an indoor assembly area and lovely cofffee shop. There are courses for experienced orienteers and those new to night orienteering. Please enter in advance by Sunday 29th January on Fabian4. There may be entries available after this date, subject to map availability.
