SYO Club Champs + Come and Try It event

The club champs will take place on Saturday 27th September on the new Limb Valley map.

Registration and parking will now be at the car park in Whirlowbrook Park.

The number 30 bus passes the park.

Come prepared for a mass start at 11.10.
There will be a yellow course (which will probably not be a mass start) for young juniors.

After the club champs there will be a meal/social/prizegiving at Dore Old School, Savage Lane, Dore (postcode S17 3GW). Food, soft drinks and some alcohol (beer/lager) will be provided. Please bring more alcohol if you want. Cost - about £5/adult, £2/child (and I leave it to your discretion whether your offspring eat enough to pay at adult rate!) We could have a second room as a play area if enough children are coming along.

Club Champs is Pre-entry only!!!! (to make sure we have enough maps and can have a go at handicapping). Please email Jackie (ja_butcher@NOSPAMyahoo.co.uk - remove "NOSPAM" from the address) giving:

Name, BOF age class, SI number, whether you're coming to eat and whether you're vegetarian.

Come and Try It event
This will be held in association with the club champs. Registration as above from 9.45-10.45. Starts from 10-11, courses close 12.30. White, yellow and red courses - all suitable for beginners. If anyone entering the Come and Try It event would like to join SYO members for the social then please come along (if possible email ja_butcher@NOSPAMyahoo.co.uk with numbers and vegetarian/meat eater status).
